All we get from this Minister is dollars announced and a program title. No real strategy behind the investment.

Canadian taxpayers already invest billions each year in this sector, yet experts keep telling this committee that we can’t commercialize our own innovations and our IP gets owned abroad.

As a result, Canada forfeits roughly 2.7% of its potential GDP, approximately $75B. We’re seeing a massive negative net return on our ‘investment’.

We need a strategy.
