Kelly In Ottawa

Kelly is taking the voice of Kitchener Centre to the heart of government. She is working to end the drug crisis and champion Kitchener Centre as Canada’s Innovation Capital in tech, AI, quantum, scientific research, and more. She wants to help restore the Canadian dream, ensuring that hard work means being able to afford a home, put food on the table, and live safely in our community. Through her work in Ottawa, Kelly is turning local priorities into national action.

Science and Research Committee

Through her work on the House of Commons Science and Research Committee, Kelly has helped drive meaningful progress on strengthening Canada’s innovation ecosystem. She has brought forward expert witnesses and highlighted critical challenges facing the country, including weak commercialization pathways, the loss of top talent to other jurisdictions, and the need to protect Canadian intellectual property. Kelly will always fight for Kitchener Centre—Canada’s Innovation Capital—and work to ensure Canada leads in responsible, cutting-edge innovation that is developed, owned, and commercialized here at home.

Canada‑Germany Interparliamentary Group

Kelly is excited to be elected Co‑Chair of the Canada‑Germany Interparliamentary Group!

Beyond policy and partnerships, this is about friendship, culture, and community. And here in Kitchener, home to one of the largest Oktoberfests outside Germany, the German heritage runs deep. It’s a reminder that global ties are built right in our own backyard, through music, food, and celebration.

Big thanks to her fellow MPs for their confidence. She’s ready to raise a stein, roll up her sleeves, and get to work, building connections that are as strong as they are fun!
