Through her work in Ottawa, she is helping restore the Canadian dream by turning local priorities into national action so that hard work once again means a safe community, an affordable home, and food on the table.
Science and Research Committee
Through her work on the House of Commons Science and Research Committee, Kelly is driving progress to strengthen Canada’s innovation ecosystem by elevating expert voices and tackling key challenges like weak commercialization, talent loss, and protecting Canadian intellectual property. She will always fight for Kitchener Centre, Canada’s Innovation Capital, and work to ensure Canada leads in responsible, cutting-edge innovation that is developed, owned, and commercialized here at home.

Canada must stand with the Rohingya people and all ethnic and religious minorities in Myanmar who continue to face persecution under the military junta.
Canada‑Germany Interparliamentary Group

Kelly is excited to be elected Co‑Chair of the Canada‑Germany Interparliamentary Group!
Beyond policy and partnerships, this is about friendship, culture, and community. And here in Kitchener, home to one of the largest Oktoberfests outside Germany, the German heritage runs deep. It’s a reminder that global ties are built right in our own backyard, through music, food, and celebration.
Big thanks to her fellow MPs for their confidence. She’s ready to raise a stein, roll up her sleeves, and get to work, building connections that are as strong as they are fun!
